Biography
Joël Praz is a PhD student in international history and the history of patents. Since 2022, his research has focused on the history of the international patent system. In addition to his doctoral work, he serves as a teaching assistant for the course History and the Digital, a mandatory component of the Master’s programme in Digital Humanities. Prior to his current position, he studied history and political science at the University of Lausanne, as well as public management and policy at the University of Bern. He also worked as a researcher at the Diplomatic Documents of Switzerland (Dodis) research centre in Bern.
