Biography
Junyan Qian was born in Shanghai, China, in 1997. He received the B.Sc. degree in micro engineering from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2019, where he also received the M.Sc. degree micro engineering and minor degree in biomedical devices in 2024.His current research interests are in miniaturizing neuroprosthetics and implantable sensors, involving probing interfaces, data treating CMOS integrated circuits, and wireless power and data communication platform design for the development of next-generation biomedical devices.His current project involves fabricating RFET (Reprogrammable Feild-Effect Transistor) and bio-functionalization for CRC (Colorectal cancer) biomarkers detection.
