Biography
Kristina Bright is a doctoral assistant of the soil biogeochemistry laboratory (
SOIL) and joined in February 2023. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Microbiology and Immunology from ETH Zurich. Her research is focused on exploring how novel concepts from microbial ecology and biogeochemistry can improve our understanding of soil organic carbon abundance, distribution, and susceptibility to climate change in Swiss mountain soils.
