This course presents the basics of Python programming with an introduction to algorithmic thinking and to some fundamental algorithms.

Information and scientific computation (for MAN)

After an introduction to Python programming and algorithmic science, numerical methods concerning nonlinear equations and numerical integration are analysed, implemented and used to solve many examples from mathematics and physics.
