Marie Gervier grew up in Normandy and graduated from Sciences Po Paris, entering through a special track designed for students from priority educational backgrounds.
Over the past 8 years, she has dedicated her career to the common good, leveraging her skills in communication, project management, and event organization. As an inspired and driven young professional, she has worked for public institutions, NGOs, the private sector, and the United Nations, always with the same objectives : impact and dedication.
Marie worked in Morocco, the UK, France, and Switzerland. She served as an assistant to an advisor to the King of Morocco and worked with the United Nations in the cultural diplomacy department. She also served as Event Manager at the French Parliament and played a role in organizing NGO events for COP22, the UN climate conference.
Currently, she works at the AI Center at the école Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), where she is involved in organizing high-profile events, including the Applied Machine Learning Days (AMLD). This event attracts leaders and experts in the AI field from across Europe and beyond, with past speakers including Edward Snowden, Garry Kasparov. Google has been a partner, and the conference offers opportunities for start ups and artificial intelligence experts to showcase their work.
