Biographie
Dr Marta Divall is Laboratory Manager at EPFL in the group of Prof. Tobias Kippenberg at the Laboratory of Photonics and Quantum Measurements. She has obtained her masters degree in mathematics and physics from the University of Szeged. She carried out her PhD work in Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in the UK (Dr. Ian Ross) and at University of Szeged (Dr. Karoly Osvay) working on the development of high power ultrashort pulse laser systems in the UV regime. She has utilized her knowledge to develop photo-injector lasers for electron production at Daresbury Laboratory in the UK, CERN, where her main research is focused on generating unique burst mode pulse-structures for electron beam combination at 12GHz and Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland, where she was in charge of developing femtosecond resolution timing tools and the active stabilization for the laser systems used in SwissFEL complex.Parcours professionnel
