Courses

Introduction to stochastic PDEs

MATH-485

Stochastic PDEs are used to model systems that are spatially extended and include a random component. This course gives an introduction to this topic, including some general measure theory, some Gaussian measure theory and some linear semigroup theory.

Probability I

MATH-230

The course is an introduction to probability theory. We aim to introduce the modern formalism (based on the notion of measure), to connect it with the 'intuitive' aspect of probabilities, but also to become familiar with the probabilistic way of thinking.
