I am a scientist and instructor at EPFL in the Department of Mathematics. Before coming to Lausanne, I have been in San Diego as a Visiting Assistant Professor from 2017-2021
I received my PhD at the University of Oslo, Norway, in 2017. Before, I double-majored in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Bonn.
I was a scientific visitor at the University of Minnesota in 2015-2016, at Cambridge University in 2019, and at Brown University in 2020.
My expertise is the theory of numerical simulations, in particular electromagnetism and general relativity.

Analysis III
The course studies the fundamental concepts of vector analysis and Fourier-Laplace analysis with a view to their use in solving multidisciplinary problems in scientific engineering.
Analysis IV
This course is an introduction to the theory of complex analysis, Fourier series and Fourier transforms (including for tempered distributions), the Laplace transform, and their uses to solve ordinary and partial differential equations.
Numerical methods for conservation laws
Introduction to the development, analysis, and application of computational methods for solving conservation laws with an emphasis on finite volume, limiter based schemes, high-order essentially non-oscillatory schemes, and discontinuous Galerkin methods.
