Biographie
Nikhil Calas is a French architect and carpenter, he co-founded the architecture practice “faire”, which he runs with architect and researcher Federico Diodato in Paris. He studied at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-Belleville and Chalmers UT. His research focuses on “Learning through making: capacitation and transmission through the practice of making”, research he developed during the post-master Recherches en architecture” he completed at ENSA Paris La Villette in 2021. He is involved in ICOMOS, and part of the french delegation at the Conseil des Architectes d'Europe (CAE-ACE) and the Union Internationale des Architectes (UIA). He currently serves as the vice-president of the French union “Syndicat de l’Architecture” (SA) and joined the ALICE team in 2023 as a studio director.
