Mission
My research focuses on the role of metabolic interactions in the evolution and functioning of photosymbioses. By using simple model systems such as Paramecium and Aiptasia, I aim to understand the fundamental processes that gave rise to endosymbioses and as such the evolution of eukaryotic life.Awards
