Paolo Romano was born in Italy in 1987. He received his BSc and MSc degree (with honors) in Electronics Engineering from the University of Genova (UNIGE), Italy, in 2008 and 2011, respectively. Since December 2011 he is enrolled as a Ph.D. student at the Distributed Electrical System Laboratory (DESL) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, under the direction of Professor Mario Paolone.
