Engineer in materials science with a doctorate in biomedical, Pascale Van Landuyt is a specialist in business-academia innovation. For more than 15 years, she has been working at the Vice-Presidency for Innovation of EPFL with the mission to support companies in their innovation journey. Her technical areas of expertise include materials, medtech, biotech, pharma and food. She has supported numerous projects that have received cantonal, Innosuisse or European funding.
In January 2024, she took over the management of the Alliance industrial liaison program covering French-speaking Switzerland. Since 2023, she is also expert for Innosuisse.

Mission
The mission of Alliance is to help companies in their innovation journey with any academic institutions in Western Switzerland (EPFL, HES-SO, CHUV, HUG, Universities, CSEM, IDIAP). This includes : company need analysis, technology scouting in academic labs, research project structuration and enrichment, advice regarding possible funding and guidance.
The Alliance team is providing tailor-made support to companies, be they large corporations, SMEs or start-ups.
