Biography
He has a master degree in mechanical engineering from the EPFL and PhD from the Institute of Aerospace Thermodynamics of the University of Stuttgart. He started his career in 1999 as a scientific researcher in the field of gas turbine combustion and the development and application of laser diagnostic techniques at the German Aerospace Centre in the Institute of Combustion Technologies. In 2005, he joined Robert Bosch Corporate Research GmbH within the department of Applied Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics. He continued as a research engineer and later as a project manager for the development of automotive products based on his own patented technologies and acquired broad experience as an intrapreneur and as a senior expert in fluid mechanics and agile product development. Parallel to his activities at Bosch he gave lectures in fluid mechanics at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Stuttgart and is still active as a consultant in his field of expertise.
