ESONN

Graduate course : ESONN - Grenoble Module "Advanced biophysics for microsystems design" at the post-graduate European School on Nanosciences & Nanotechnologies (ESONN.fr) in Grenoble, organized by the IPNG, UJF, CNRS and CEA.

Courses

Experimental biochemistry and biophysics

A semester long experiment where you plan and construct a fluorescent sensor protein starting from DNA bricks. The protein will be expressed in and purified from bacteria, and characterized by biochemical and spectroscopic methods. Your report will be in the style of a scientific paper.

Cellular signalling

Presentation of selected signalling pathways with emphasis on both the mechanism of action of the molecules involved, molecular interactions and the role of their spatio-temporal organization within the cell, considering cellular dimensions and conditions.
