Biographie
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the SaCS lab at EPFL. I completed my PhD in Computer Science from INRIA and École Polytechnique in France, under the supervision of Catuscia Palamidessi. Previously, I have been a Visiting Scholar at the School of Computing at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, collaborating with Annabelle McIiver and Natasha Fernandes, and at WMG, the University of Warwick in Coventry, England, working with Carsten Maple and Graham Cormode.I primarily focus on designing privacy-preserving techniques for analyzing data and training models in a decentralized fashion. My work emphasizes investigating and enhancing the trade-off between privacy and utility from a foundational perspective. Occasionally, I also get fascinated by (and end up working on) location privacy. My current research interests hover around decentralized learning, federated learning, and ethical and trustworthy machine learning, with a particular emphasis on privacy, fairness, personalization, and location privacy.
