Sneha Jain is currently completing her PhD thesis on the topic "Influence of ocular morphology and altered daylight spectra on discomfort glare perception at workplaces". Her research primarily focuses on improving the visual comfort in buildings by a better understanding of what causes or influences our perception of discomfort glare. Sneha is working on extending the applicability of current discomfort glare models by including the effect of spectrum light sources and human ocular factors in the current glare models. She has a bachelors in architecture and a Masters in Building Science. She also worked as a research fellow at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab in Berkeley, California.
