Xiaoxuan Wang joined the DCML in May 2024. His research focuses on three interrelated aspects: the neural encoding of physical sound into auditory perception of music, the implicit learning of musical structure through listening and re-listening, and the emergence of personal musical preferences from listening and re-listening.
