Dr. Zeyou Pan is a Postdoctoral Fellow at EPFL specializing in heterogeneous catalysis, reaction mechanisms, and renewable energy materials. He received his Ph.D. jointly from ETH Zürich and the Paul Scherrer Institute, where he investigated catalytic pyrolysis mechanisms using advanced synchrotron-based spectroscopy. His research focuses on biomass valorization, methane catalytic pyrolysis, and operando characterization techniques. He has published in leading journals including Nature Communications, Angewandte Chemie, ACS Catalysis, and Chemical Science. His goal is to advance sustainable catalytic technologies that contribute to carbon-neutral energy and chemical production.
