Juan Carlos Farah obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University followed by a Master of Science in Computing with Distinction from Imperial College London, and a PhD in Robotics, Control, and Intelligent Systems from the école Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). Currently he is a postdoctoral researcher and software engineer, working at the intersection of conversational agents, human-computer interaction, social neuroscience, and information theory.
