Mission

Our lab seeks to transform the way we produce and consume energy as a society, by exploiting the exceptional properties of emerging soft semiconductors. 
For this, we explore the concept of symmetry breaking in novel soft semiconductors and nanomaterials to control charge, spin and light with these printable materials.
We work on uncovering the design rules to enable the next generation of cheap and flexible solar cells & ultra-bright displays, and unlock entirely new applications in quantum information technology, all with the overarching goal of maximizing energy conversion efficiency.

The course covers the principles of chemical kinetics, including differential rate laws, derivation of exact and approximate integral rate laws for common elementary and composite reactions, fundamentals of collision and transition state theories, and applications such as enzymatic catalysis.
